Classes & Pricing

Below is some information on our class options and our pricing.

1:1 Session

Working purely on a 1:1 basis, these sessions are by far the most effective way to learn about the Pilates method and progress your own personal practise. The sessions will be tailored to meet your own, specific, individual needs and goals. You will use all of the studio apparatus in order to maximise your results.

Suitable for ‘everybody’, 1:1 sessions are ideal for athletes and beginners alike. They are particularly beneficial to those recovering from injury or illness, post pregnancy or for those looking for sport specific improvements.

1:1 Sessions can be booked as either a single session, or, as session blocks at discounted rates.

Duo Session

Similar to a 1:1 session, in these sessions you will utilise the studio apparatus which will include the Reformer, Chairs, Barrels, Mats & Studio Wall Units.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to train with a friend or family member which can be very supportive and motivational. You will receive a great deal of individual attention but you will also experience the benefit of a lower individual cost.

Duo Sessions can be booked as single sessions, or, as session blocks at discounted rates.

Mat & Tower Classes

Our signature Mat & Tower Classes offer an enhanced experience, when compared to a traditional Mat class. The Studio Wall Unit springs provide resistance for a more challenging workout, whilst also providing assistance when required, to help support the body.

These classes are a fun, whole body workout and are ideal for those looking to create a fitter and leaner physique. You will strengthen, stretch, tone and improve flexibility, whilst working hard and having fun! The Pilates Room is proud to be the only Pilates studio in the area that offers classes on this apparatus.

Small class sizes (max 5) ensure that everybody receives individual attention but also highlights the fact that Booking is Essential!

These classes are designed for those experiencing good general health. They are not suitable for those who are currently suffering with an injury or illness. If in doubt, contact the studio before booking a class. The classes are separated into levels, dependent on ability or level of experience. Please ensure that you are booking the correct class for your level of ability or experience. If in doubt, contact the studio before booking a class.

Group Reformer Classes

Working out on probably the most recognisable piece of Pilates apparatus in the studio, our group Reformer classes are ideal for improving strength, flexibility, coordination and control. The Reformer has a moving carriage, springs and straps which will add a new dimension to your Pilates practise.

Using only the finest Pilates apparatus, participants will progressively work through the classical Reformer repertoire of exercises and transitions for a unique whole body workout. You will be working hard and having fun whilst literally ‘Reforming’ your body!

Just three months after starting Pilates from scratch with Lisa (both in group classes and in private sessions) I went on an extended skiing trip to Italy. I was amazed with the improvements I gained from doing Pilates. I felt that my core muscles were so much stronger, giving me better balance and allowing me to ski faster and better ‘with control’ at all times! Another noticeable benefit was an improvement in my mobility and flexibility – I could bend and stretch much more freely.

I ran one and a half miles today and it didn’t jolt or jar my back‘. That’s all down to Pilates. Thank you and long may it continue….

I have been attending Lisa’s Pilates for over a year now. To my surprise there were people with different levels of fitness, all age groups and different shapes and sizes. I am in my 60’s and have had a hip replacement due to arthritis. Very soon I realised that Lisa has a passion for Pilates that is evident in all of her classes. BUT (and the “proof of the pudding”) is that there is a improvement in my POSTURE, WALKING , MUSCLE TONE and STRENGTH. Pilates suits everyone no matter what their age. I am now as passionate as Lisa about Pilates and would recommend her classes. I would go every day if I could. The improvements are amazing.
